August 29, 2009 - Inna and Edward

The Antares Musicians played tonight for another beautiful wedding at The Tremont Grand. The ceremony was held in the Marble Room. The room was decorated in a simple white and silver motif. We played for 45 minutes before the start of the ceremony as the guests were entering the room. When the ceremony began, the couple had their bridesmaids enter as they sang an original song composed by the guitarist, who also accompanied their entrance. After the bridal party entered, we played a regal version of Trumpet Voluntary for Inna's entrance. At the conclusion of the ceremony, we performed an upbeat version of the Pachelbel Canon (as requested by the bride) for the wedding party's recessional. It is a bit unusual to play this piece at the end of a ceremony, however it was perfect for their pastoral exit.
