September 26, 2009- Lauren and Rocco's Wedding

Lauren and Rocco were married on September 26, 2009 at The Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City. The couple had planned on an outside ceremony, however the weather did not allow for the outdoor event. The ceremony was moved inside the Waterford Room which overlooked the scenic golf course. Lauren and Rocco chose our Violin, Cello, and Piano Trio to perform for their ceremony and cocktail hour. We performed in the back of room for the pre-ceremony and ceremony. Lauren chose Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and The Pachelbel Canon for the wedding party's processionals. Our trio played Ave Maria as the couple lighted the unity candle and handed out roses to their parents. The recessional was very traditional-The Mendelssohn Wedding March. Our trio quickly moved from the ceremony to the foyer of the Waterford Room and played cocktail music for an hour and a half. We were able to take advantage of the grand piano that resides in the foyer. We received many compliments from their guests.

September 19, 2009-Jackie and Anthony's Wedding

Jackie and Anthony were married on September 19, 2009 at The Church of The Immaculate Conception in Towson. The bride and groom chose our String Trio to perform for their full Catholic mass. The String Trio played solo and at times was accompanied by the organist. Our music filled the church as we played Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and The Pachelbel Canon for the processional. The couple requested The Hallelujah Chorus for their recessional, which added a bit of humor to the day.

September 19, 2009-Lucy and Lance's wedding

Lucy and Lance were married on September 19, 2009 at the beautiful Kent Manor Inn, in Stevensville, Maryland. The weather was absolutely perfect for their ceremony-not a cloud in the sky! The bridal party had an extremely long walk as they processed from the Inn to the gazebo, located near the water. Our flute and string trio performed for their beautiful ceremony, which was enhanced by our Bose amplification system. After the recessional, we moved to the garden house, where we performed upbeat music for the duration of the cocktail hour. This was our second time performing for the family, as we recently played for a Christmas party held at the family's home in Ellicott City.

September 19, 2009-Celine & Richard's Ceremony

Celine and Richard were married on 9/19/09 at The Manor Tavern in Monkton, Maryland. The bride and groom had many musical requests for their ceremony, which our flute and string trio was able to accommodate. Although their wedding party was small, their ceremony was not small on emotions as the bride and groom exchanged their vows. As they lit their unity candle, we played Ave Maria softly under the Rev. Tina's reading. The couple chose the majestic Handel's Hornpipe/Finale as their recessional. We continued playing in the same location for the cocktail hour, where we played all of the musical requests from the bride and groom.

September 13, 2009-Colleen & Darren's wedding

Colleen and Darren had a lovely wedding at The Ceresville Mansion on September 13, 2009. Our Flute and String Trio performed for their ceremony and cocktail hour. Their guests were able to enjoy our music inside and outside the mansion, since the facility provided a microphone and sound system which amplified our live music throughout the mansion house. The bride and her guests were able to hear all of our pre-ceremony, as well as ceremony and cocktail hour music. We had a wonderful time playing an upbeat mixture of classical, jazz, pop, and show tunes for their cocktail hour.

September 12, 2009-Alexis & Richard

Alexis and Richard were married on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at The Tregaron Mansion in Washington D.C. The Antares Musicians' String Trio performed for their outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, which overlooked The National Cathedral. Although it appeared that it would rain during the ceremony, the sun finally made an appearance just as the processional began. After their ceremony, we moved to a nearby location to perform for their cocktail hour. We received many compliments about our choices of music and our performance from their guests.

September 5, 2009 - Melissa & Robert

Melissa and Robert were married today at The Corpus Christi Church, located near the Art Institute in Baltimore. Their cocktail hour and reception was held at The Peabody Library. They chose our String Trio to perform for their special occasion. Since Melissa and Robert were having a large number of guests, we brought with us our new sound amplification system for our performance in the Peabody Library's Exhibition Gallery. Our system was a huge hit and we received numerous compliments from guests, the bridal party, and the other vendors!

September 5, 2009 - Janine & Seth

Janine and Seth were married today at Chase Court in Baltimore. The weather was just perfect for their lovely outdoor ceremony. Our Flute and String Trio performed for their wedding, cocktail hour, and reception. After the ceremony, we moved inside the historic venue to the ballroom where we played a mixture of classical, popular, jazz, and show tunes--especially music from Phantom of the Opera, their favorite. The acoustics were fantastic in the ballroom and the bride and groom were delighted with every aspect of their wedding!
