January 22, 2010 - Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institue

On Friday, January 22, 2010 our superb String Trio performed at the new Clarice Smith building, which is part of The JHU's Wilmer Eye Institute in East Baltimore. We performed classical music as the doctors, professors, and guests had an opportunity to tour the magnificent facility. Just prior to the dinner service, our String Trio quickly moved to the area where the dinner was to be served. We continued playing classical music as well as popular, jazz, tangos, and show tunes. We used our Bose amplification system to project our sound in the enormous atrium area. Our music added a beautiful ambiance to this elegant event.

January 15, 2010 - The Turf Valley Bridal Extravaganza

The Turf Valley Resort held their annual Bridal Extravaganza on Friday, January 15, 2010 from 4:00-10:00 p.m. Some of our musicians and consultants greeted brides and their guests as they made their way around the event. We handed out over 100 gift bags to the brides that visited our booth. At 7:00, our popular Flute and String Trio performed in the Grand Ballroom during the dinner service for the brides and their guests. We performed under the chuppah, which was located at the head of the catwalk. We used our new Bose amplification system, which allowed our sound to be projected throughout the large ballroom. We played a mixture of classical, jazz, Latin, popular, and show tunes during the dinner service. We had a wonderful time performing at this well-organized and well-attended event!

December 31, 2009 - Leslie and Ryan's wedding

On New Year's Eve 2009, Leslie and Ryan were married at The Belvedere Hotel in Baltimore. The couple chose our String Trio to perform for their wedding in the Charles Room and their cocktail hour in the John Eager Room. Since the couple had a fondness for The Beatles music, they requested that we play all Beatles music for their ceremony. We played "I Will" for the bridal party's entrance and "Here Comes The Sun" for Leslie's entrance. They chose "When I'm 64" for their recessional, which was the perfect ending to their beautiful ceremony. We immediately moved across the lobby to the John Eager Room, where we performed for their cocktail hour. Their guests were very appreciative of our music, as they applauded after every selection!

On Friday, December 4, 2009, Ellicott City hosted their annual Midnight Madness event in Historic Ellicott City. Our Flute, Violin, and Piano Trio performed on 12/4 for the Grand Opening of E.C.'s newest wedding venue, "Ellicott City Weddings and Events." The venue is a newly restored, intimate building on main street, perfect for weddings and other events. It accommodates approximately 60 people or less. Since it was a snowy afternoon, E.C. was not as busy as expected, however we did have the chance to meet a few prospective brides.
