October 25, 2009 - Shannon and Ryan

Shannon and Ryan were married on October 25, 2009 at The Gramercy Bed and Breakfast. Our String Quartet performed for their outdoor ceremony down by the gazebo. The bride and groom requested that we play Bach's Brandenburg Concerto #3 for the wedding party's processional. We composed a string quartet arrangement of Coldplay's "Clocks" for the bride's entrance, which was beautiful! Before the couple exchanged rings, they had the ushers pass their wedding rings around to all of their guests. The rings were threaded through a ribbon and each guest had the opportunity to hold the rings while we performed Handel's Passacaglia. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the couple was introduced as we played, "All You Need Is Love." After the ceremony, our string quartet moved to the mansion house where we performed and upbeat mix of jazz and tangos for the couple's cocktail hour.

October 17, 2009 - Kristen & Dave

Kristen and Dave were married on October 17, 2009 at the Gramercy Bed and Breakfast. The couple chose our string trio to perform for their wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. We played Handel's Passacaglia, Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, and The Pachelbel Canon for the processionals. Kristen requested that we compose a string trio arrangement of "Feels Like Home" for her friend (vocalist) to perform with us during the ceremony. The ceremony ended with Autumn, from Vivaldi's Four Seasons. After the ceremony, we continued to play for the cocktail hour where we played a mixture of jazz, pop, and classical music.

October 24, 2009 - Kristy and Matthew's Wedding

Kristy and Matthew were married on October 23, 2009 at the Riva Trace Baptist Church in Annapolis, Maryland. The couple had created a pre-ceremony slideshow containing photos of each other throughout their lives. Our String Trio was the perfect complement to this slideshow. The couple had many pre-ceremony requests, which we gladly performed. After our final pre-ceremony song, "You Raise Me Up," Matthew's mom and Kristy's Aunt lit the unity candles as we played, "Ave Maria." The bridal party entered as we performed, "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" and Kristy entered as we performed, "The Pachelbel Canon." The bride and groom asked us to play, "The Hallelujah Chorus" for their recessional, which got a bit of a chuckle from the congregation! After the ceremony, we drove to the Annapolis Sheraton, where we performed a lively mixture of music for the cocktail hour.

October 17, 2009 - Robin and Cary's Wedding

Robin and Cary were married on October 17, 2009 at the Intercontinental Harborcourt Hotel in Baltimore. The bride and groom chose our Flute and Sting Trio for their ceremony and cocktail hour. We played pre-ceremony music for a half hour before the ceremony and then played Handel's Passacaglia and The Pachelbel Canon for the processionals. At the end of the ceremony, the groom broke the glass and we began playing Simon Tov. The congregation clapped along with the music as the bridal party departed the room. After the ceremony, we moved to the gorgeous cocktail hour location where we played an upbeat mix of music.

October 17, 2009 - Caroline and Matthew's Wedding

Caroline and Matthew were married on October 17, 2009 at Turf Valley Country Club. Unfortunately the cold, rainy weather did not allow for the planned outdoor wedding, but the ceremony was beautiful nevertheless. It was held in the Waterford Ballroom where the large windows overlooking the golf course still gave a connection to the outdoors. It was just coincidence, but the bride chose all her ceremony pieces from vocal works. Our Flute, Violin and Cello Trio played the Flower Duet from Lakme for the attendants and Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana for the Bride's entrance. Arrival of the Queen of Sheba from Handel's Solomon was the recessional.

October 11, 2009 - Anja and Matt's Wedding

Anja and Matt's wedding on October 11, 2009 took place at the Admiral Fell Inn in Fell's Point. A cozy room in the basement of the historic hotel, which dates back to 1770, was the perfect spot for the intimate ceremony. Our Flute, Violin, and Cello Trio played the couple's requests of Trumpet Tune for the attendants, Spring from Vivaldi's Four Seasons for the bride's processional and Autumn from the Four Seasons for the couple's recessional. For an interlude during the ceremony, we played Bach's Air on a G string. The cocktail hour and reception were held in the upstairs ballroom, where the panoramic windows give a beautiful bird's eyeview of the surrounding area. The trio played a mix of classical, pop, showtunes, jazz and tangos for the cocktail hour.

October 10, 2009 - Kristen and Brian's Wedding

Kristen and Brian were married at Belmont on October 10, 2009. A rainy morning fortunately gave way to a gorgeous sunny afternoon, allowing for the late afternoon wedding ceremony to take place on the front lawn, with the historic Belmont Manor House, which dates back to 1738, as a beautiful backdrop. The couple chose our Flute, Violin and Cello Trio to accompany their wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. The processional included Winter from the Four Seasons for the entrance of the mothers, Reverend and groomsmen, Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring for the bridesmaids and the bride processed in to Canon in D by Pachelbel. For the recessional, we played The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba by Handel. After the ceremony, the guests moved to the lawn in back of the house for the cocktail hour, where our trio played a mix of classical and popular tunes requested by the bride. A magnificent sunset lit the sky as the guests moved to the tent to enjoy the rest of the evening reception.

October 11, 2009-Christine and Ben's wedding

Christine and Ben were married on October 11, 2009 at The Peabody Library. It was the first wedding ceremony to take place in the historic venue in about seven years. Our String Trio performed during the wedding ceremony in the main library and also for the cocktail hour in the Exhibition Gallery. Many guests danced as we performed such classics as: Stand By Me, What A Wonderful World, and I Will. The groom's niece, a young flute player, was one of our biggest fans. She sat next to us and listened intently for the entire cocktail hour!

October 10, 2009-Lisa and Stephen's Wedding

Lisa and Stephen got married at The Turf Valley Resort on October 10, 2009. It was a breezy Saturday afternoon wedding. The bride chose beautiful chocolate brown dresses for her bridesmaids who walked down the aisle to the Pachelbel Canon. The bride was first escorted by her daughter and then by her father while our trio played, Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring. After the ceremony, our string trio moved inside The Tavern on the Green, where their cocktail hour and reception took place, and performed for their guests.

October 4, 2009-Lindsay & William

Our String Trio performed for Lindsay and William's wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at Celebrations at the Bay on October 4, 2009. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon for their wedding ceremony, which took place on the deck overlooking the bay. Their parents walked down the isle while we played Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and the bridal party (including the bride) processed to The Pachelbel Canon. The bride and groom were true Ravens fans, as they chose Raven's purple for their bridesmaids' dresses. After the officiant shouted, "Go Ravens!" we played the traditional Mendelssohn Wedding March for their recessional. We continued to play outside on the deck for the duration of their cocktail hour. It was a beautiful wedding day for the couple!

October 3, 2009-Stephanie and Freddy

Stephanie and Freddy were married at The Oakland Mansion in Columbia on October 3, 2009. The bride and groom hired our Violin, Cello, and Piano Trio for their wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. After the ceremony the trio moved behind the mansion, where the cocktail hour was held. We had many musical requests from their guests including music from Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Gershwin, and even a few Beatles tunes.
