November 14, 2009 - Kristin and Michael

Kristin and Michael were married on Saturday, November 14 at the Admiral Fell Inn. The ceremony took place just as it was getting dark and the lights of the surrounding Fells Point area--visible through the enormous windows along three walls of the fifth floor ballroom--provided a magical backdrop for a beautiful wedding. Our Flute and String Trio performed Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and the very traditional Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin by Wagner for the processional and the traditional Bridal March of Mendelssohn for the recessional. For the cocktail hour the trio moved to another room and performed a mix of pop, showtunes, tangos, jazz and upbeat classical music.

November 14, 2009 - Meghann and Brian

Meghann and Brian were married on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Marikle Chapel of the Annunciation at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. The chapel provided a beautiful wedding location not only for the eyes, but the ears as well--as the acoustics in the chapel are fantastic. The wedding ceremony included plenty of music to take full advantage of the lovely setting. Our Flute and String Trio, along with a our vocalist/pianist performed for the ceremony. Ceremony selections included Schubert's Ave Maria (sung by the soloist), Pachelbel's Canon in D, J.S. Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring for the processional, and Beethoven's Ode to Joy for the recessional. During the ceremony, the soloist sang Psalm 103: The Lord is kind and merciful for the Responsorial Psalm and the Celtic Alleluia for the Gospel Acclamation accompanied by the flute trio.

November 7, 2009-Melissa and Bill's Wedding

Melissa and Bill were married on November 7, 2009 at The Belvedere Hotel in Baltimore, MD. The bride and groom chose our string quartet to perform for their ceremony in the Charles Room and for their cocktail hour in the John Eager Room. The bride requested that our quartet perform "Wonderwall", by Oasis, for her grand walk down the aisle. We made a special string quartet arrangement of this piece just for Melissa and Bill's big day--it was a huge success. Many guests commented on the superb quartet arrangement and also told us how beautiful it sounded. We were delighted to get so many compliments! Our quartet used our new Bose sound system to amplify our sound during the cocktail hour. It certainly made our cocktail hour performance even more spectacular!

November 7, 2009 - Dawn and Matt

Dawn and Matt were married on Saturday, November 7, 2009 in Tagart Memorial Chapel at McDonogh School in Owings Mills. It was a perfect fall day and in fact the McDonogh School campus was buzzing with activity since it was homecoming weekend. Our Flute, Violin and Cello Trio performed for the ceremony in the beautiful 110 year old chapel. The bride chose Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring by Bach for the attendant's processional and Canon in D for her entrance. For the recessional we played Trumpet Voluntary. After all the guests exited the chapel, our trio moved to The Mansion at Valley Country Club in Towson for the reception. We played a mixture of jazz, pop, showtunes and upbeat classical for the cocktail hour.

October 24, 2009 - Kristina and Ryan

Kristina and Ryan were married on Saturday, October 24 in Roland Park at the Baltimore Country Club. It was yet another cold, rainy October Saturday so the ceremony was held indoors. The glorious flowers and the beauty of Baltimore Country Club's architecture and decor provided a lovely space for the ceremony. The processional included Air from the Water Music Suite by Handel for the grandparents' and parents' entrance, Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring by J.S. Bach for the attendants, and Canon in D by Pachelbel for the bride. Spring from the Four Seasons by Vivaldi was the recessional the couple chose. Our flute, violin, and cello trio then performed a mix of upbeat classical and pop music for the cocktail hour.
