January 22, 2010 - Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institue
On Friday, January 22, 2010 our superb String Trio performed at the new Clarice Smith building, which is part of The JHU's Wilmer Eye Institute in East Baltimore. We performed classical music as the doctors, professors, and guests had an opportunity to tour the magnificent facility. Just prior to the dinner service, our String Trio quickly moved to the area where the dinner was to be served. We continued playing classical music as well as popular, jazz, tangos, and show tunes. We used our Bose amplification system to project our sound in the enormous atrium area. Our music added a beautiful ambiance to this elegant event.
January 15, 2010 - The Turf Valley Bridal Extravaganza
The Turf Valley Resort held their annual Bridal Extravaganza on Friday, January 15, 2010 from 4:00-10:00 p.m. Some of our musicians and consultants greeted brides and their guests as they made their way around the event. We handed out over 100 gift bags to the brides that visited our booth. At 7:00, our popular Flute and String Trio performed in the Grand Ballroom during the dinner service for the brides and their guests. We performed under the chuppah, which was located at the head of the catwalk. We used our new Bose amplification system, which allowed our sound to be projected throughout the large ballroom. We played a mixture of classical, jazz, Latin, popular, and show tunes during the dinner service. We had a wonderful time performing at this well-organized and well-attended event!
December 31, 2009 - Leslie and Ryan's wedding
On New Year's Eve 2009, Leslie and Ryan were married at The Belvedere Hotel in Baltimore. The couple chose our String Trio to perform for their wedding in the Charles Room and their cocktail hour in the John Eager Room. Since the couple had a fondness for The Beatles music, they requested that we play all Beatles music for their ceremony. We played "I Will" for the bridal party's entrance and "Here Comes The Sun" for Leslie's entrance. They chose "When I'm 64" for their recessional, which was the perfect ending to their beautiful ceremony. We immediately moved across the lobby to the John Eager Room, where we performed for their cocktail hour. Their guests were very appreciative of our music, as they applauded after every selection!
December 26, 2009 - Shawn and Brian's wedding
On December 26, 2009 Shawn and Brian were married at The Turf Valley Resort in The Elicott Room. They chose our brilliant flute an string trio to perform for their ceremony and cocktail hour. During the ceremony, we played Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, Air from the Water Music Suite, The Pachelbel Canon in D, The Bridal Chorus, Air on a G, and finally Ode to Joy by Beethoven. After the ceremony we quickly moved to The Terrace on the Green restaurant, where their cocktail hour and reception took place. We performed an eclectic mixture of jazz, tangos, and popular music.
December 12, 2009 - Bar Mitzvah

On December 8, 2009, we performed for The Charm City Concierge's Holiday Party held the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore. Our String Trio performed for two hours in the Pisces Room, which is located at the top of the Hyatt. We played a mixture of holiday, jazz, Latin, and popular music. The view from this room was amazing-we overlooked Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Everyone, including the wait staff, raved about our performance as well as the music we chose!
December 4 & 5, 2009 - Ellicott City Weddings and Events Grand Opening


On Friday, December 4, 2009, Ellicott City hosted their annual Midnight Madness event in Historic Ellicott City. Our Flute, Violin, and Piano Trio performed on 12/4 for the Grand Opening of E.C.'s newest wedding venue, "Ellicott City Weddings and Events." The street was packed with people of all ages from 6:00 p.m. until midnight. The next day, 12/5, our Flute and String Trio performed at the same venue. The venue is a newly restored, intimate building on main street, perfect for weddings and other events. It accommodates approximately 60 people or less. Since it was a snowy afternoon, E.C. was not as busy as expected, however we did have the chance to meet a few prospective brides.

On November 21, 2009 Virginia and Paul were married at The Tremont Grand in Baltimore. Their ceremony took place in the Edinburgh Room, which is located on the 5th floor. They selected our Violin, Cello, and Piano Trio to perform for their ceremony and cocktail hour. For the ceremony we played: Air on the G String, Trumpet Voluntary, Pachelbel Canon, Bridal Chorus, Bach's Ave Maria, and The Wedding March. We moved the the Doric Room for the cocktail hour, where we performed on the raised stage area. We played a mixture of popular, jazz, and show tunes. Their guests LOVED the music!
November 14, 2009 - Sarah's wedding
On November 14, 2009, Sarah was married in one of the most beautiful churches we have ever seen. She was married at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Annapolis. Our String Trio played a beautiful mix of classical prelude music as the guests were arriving. For the processionals we played "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring," "Pachelbel Canon," and Wagner's "Bridal March." During the ceremony we played "The Wedding Song" for the presentation of the gifts, "Ave Maria" and "Sleepers Awake" during Communion, "Air from the Water Music Suite" for the Dedication to the Blessed Mother, and finally "The Wedding March" for the recessional. We received MANY compliments from her guests!

November 14, 2009 - Kristin and Michael


Kristin and Michael were married on Saturday, November 14 at the Admiral Fell Inn. The ceremony took place just as it was getting dark and the lights of the surrounding Fells Point area--visible through the enormous windows along three walls of the fifth floor ballroom--provided a magical backdrop for a beautiful wedding. Our Flute and String Trio performed Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and the very traditional Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin by Wagner for the processional and the traditional Bridal March of Mendelssohn for the recessional. For the cocktail hour the trio moved to another room and performed a mix of pop, showtunes, tangos, jazz and upbeat classical music.
November 14, 2009 - Meghann and Brian


Meghann and Brian were married on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Marikle Chapel of the Annunciation at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. The chapel provided a beautiful wedding location not only for the eyes, but the ears as well--as the acoustics in the chapel are fantastic. The wedding ceremony included plenty of music to take full advantage of the lovely setting. Our Flute and String Trio, along with a our vocalist/pianist performed for the ceremony. Ceremony selections included Schubert's Ave Maria (sung by the soloist), Pachelbel's Canon in D, J.S. Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring for the processional, and Beethoven's Ode to Joy for the recessional. During the ceremony, the soloist sang Psalm 103: The Lord is kind and merciful for the Responsorial Psalm and the Celtic Alleluia for the Gospel Acclamation accompanied by the flute trio. November 7, 2009-Melissa and Bill's Wedding
Melissa and Bill were married on November 7, 2009 at The Belvedere Hotel in Baltimore, MD. The bride and groom chose our string quartet to perform for their ceremony in the Charles Room and for their cocktail hour in the John Eager Room. The bride requested that our quartet perform "Wonderwall", by Oasis, for her grand walk down the aisle. We made a special string quartet arrangement of this piece just for Melissa and Bill's big day--it was a huge success. Many guests commented on the superb quartet arrangement and also told us how beautiful it sounded. We were delighted to get so many compliments! Our quartet used our new Bose sound system to amplify our sound during the cocktail hour. It certainly made our cocktail hour performance even more spectacular!

November 7, 2009 - ECOG Conference
Our flute, violin, viola and cello quartet played at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel on Saturday evening for a reception held for doctors, nurses, data managers and other medical professionals as part of the ECOG (Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group) conference being held this weekend in Baltimore. We played all classical music including lots favorites by Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi and Handel.
November 7, 2009 - Dawn and Matt


Dawn and Matt were married on Saturday, November 7, 2009 in Tagart Memorial Chapel at McDonogh School in Owings Mills. It was a perfect fall day and in fact the McDonogh School campus was buzzing with activity since it was homecoming weekend. Our Flute, Violin and Cello Trio performed for the ceremony in the beautiful 110 year old chapel. The bride chose Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring by Bach for the attendant's processional and Canon in D for her entrance. For the recessional we played Trumpet Voluntary. After all the guests exited the chapel, our trio moved to The Mansion at Valley Country Club in Towson for the reception. We played a mixture of jazz, pop, showtunes and upbeat classical for the cocktail hour.
October 24, 2009 - Kristina and Ryan


Kristina and Ryan were married on Saturday, October 24 in Roland Park at the Baltimore Country Club. It was yet another cold, rainy October Saturday so the ceremony was held indoors. The glorious flowers and the beauty of Baltimore Country Club's architecture and decor provided a lovely space for the ceremony. The processional included Air from the Water Music Suite by Handel for the grandparents' and parents' entrance, Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring by J.S. Bach for the attendants, and Canon in D by Pachelbel for the bride. Spring from the Four Seasons by Vivaldi was the recessional the couple chose. Our flute, violin, and cello trio then performed a mix of upbeat classical and pop music for the cocktail hour.

October 25, 2009 - Shannon and Ryan
Shannon and Ryan were married on October 25, 2009 at The Gramercy Bed and Breakfast. Our String Quartet performed for their outdoor ceremony down by the gazebo. The bride and groom requested that we play Bach's Brandenburg Concerto #3 for the wedding party's processional. We composed a string quartet arrangement of Coldplay's "Clocks" for the bride's entrance, which was beautiful! Before the couple exchanged rings, they had the ushers pass their wedding rings around to all of their guests. The rings were threaded through a ribbon and each guest had the opportunity to hold the rings while we performed Handel's Passacaglia. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the couple was introduced as we played, "All You Need Is Love." After the ceremony, our string quartet moved to the mansion house where we performed and upbeat mix of jazz and tangos for the couple's cocktail hour.
